Alright, so my piece of **** installation manual didn't have any instructions as to where to put the frakin' fuse. Here's my questions:
Which is send and which is receive for DC (red versus black)?
I'm assuming that the fuse would go in after the battery in terms of where the current should flow.

Oh and on an unrelated note, how easy is it to replace an axle of one of these hub motor wheel assemblies?

Thanks,
stoppit

Black is generally ground (except in house wiring where it is the live wire,v confusing &dangerous).Red is the live wire.Is there no fuse holder in the wiring to tell you where the fuse is intended to go?.A fuse can either protect the battery or the motor.Although a fuse in the wire to the controller will protect the battery,it does not necessarily protect the motor from overload. Is a fuse or a breaker not included in the battery unit?
A battery fuse is essential,a fuse between controller and motor is desirable
