Need Spring-Fork For HUFFY Cranbrook

The ones I FIND out there are too FAT The fork needs to fit a .996: hole most are about a millimeter too FAT

I know a guy up here w/ a barn full of parts. Dont know what they go for new or what you'd be willing to spend? It's no trouble for me to look into it, but I don't know much about head sets.

If you could, draw a quick schematic showing the sizes of stuff. Before you do, will the slip tightener in your neck tighten against any old sized fork?

This guy's got killer deals but don't want to know anybody! I'd gladly give you his number, but then I'm out of the loop if I do! It would be easier that way but it's the way he is. Parts ain't stolen either!
 
Looks like a 1" fork. Are you tring to install a 1 1/8" fork? If so just replace the threaded fork tube to with a 1" threaded fork tube. Hope this helps.
