New member has questions

I am a new member from South Louisiana and interested in either putting a motor on my older type bicycle, with pedal operated brakes or buying one of the newer electric bicycles. Can anyone tell me anything about the Synergy Electric Bicycles, such as reliability, quality, etc. I see them advertised on the web for under $800.00.

a rear coaster brake with a front e-hub seems like a nice way to go. i can't hardly wait for the day i can thrash on an electric motoredbike
