I saw a fully-built bike on craigslist a few days ago and thought it was the perfect solution to my dilemma of cheap, easy transport to the grocery/hardware store/bar/etc. I did a little research and decided to breathe new life into my old Schwinn cruiser instead. My Spooky Tooth GT5 kit is enroute and I'm researching ways to make it as reliable and durable as possible. See ya 'round the tech forums!

Cheers,
Mike

I just finished a Schwinn Cruiser. If you have an older one you have a lot of space for the engine so you will need to consider how to mount it. You probably are going to need some modification to the front bracket.

Welcome, have fun, and good luck.

Welcome to the forum. If you take your time and do a good build, you will be very happy with your motorized Schwinn.
