Nice ride. Whats up with the muffler looks like it's about to break? Did you paint the cyl. head black, if so was it hard to get paint in heat louvers. Did you use High temp paint.

Yeah, I bent up the muffler pretty bad. I'm waiting for a chrome replacement. Hopefully I wont have to bend much. As far as the paint, yes its high-temp. It looks alright from a distance but up close the louvers are pretty silver still, I guess you'd have to sand them down somehow for the paint to stick.
 
You must be like me. with no welder. I could sure do a lot more. like a go-cart frame with custom motor.
 
Actually, I did heat it up with mapp gas, but when I bent it I messed up. The pic doesn't show how bad it is. Someone on here says you should fill it with sand before heating.
 
Dont know bout that. I'd cut out bad spot and weld it back togather hopfully there is still clearance.
