I've commuted with an old currie-kit ebike for ten years but a recent garage fire totaled the bike. I'm looking for a replacement and have come across an ebike (EG elec bike) that is described as having a motor like this: 36V 350W Rear Hub Motor (Geared)
Having read about brushless and brush motors, I was wondering what type this Hub Motor (geared) might be? Is it a good, reliable, longlasting design?
