New ride thanks

    After gaskets ,rings,Hone cylinder, new CDI, I'm on the road again tii my rings seat then, wot Thanks to everyone in forum who put up with my ignorance and questions ! I've learned soooo . Much!! All your help put me here Glory

    WOT until the rings bed in...the first ten minutes ;) full load, full throttle...

    completely diferent to no load, full throttle. thats just asking for trouble (despite the "inbuilt governor" that seems to prevent any stock motor from ever exceeding about 8000rpm...)

    get out of the mindset that engines need to be treated gently when "breaking in". the only important part is that they are lubricated and warmed up BEFORE opening the throttle wide.

    cheap pitbikes are real classic examples. the number that are bought then absolutely thrashed to the limit from the word go...always seem to just keep going and going and going and going.
    the ones purchased by daddy for the 6 yr old daughter that are never allowed over 10km/h for the first year, or "take it gently" at first... fail fail fail, fail fail fail

    I really want to know if they have a governor or they just are too weak to whine harder

    No governor.

    nope, no actual governor, just asthma, emphysemia, call it what you will...restricted airways :)
