New take on the radar dector

    It's about time that the ordinary oppressed citizen can bring back some balance from over zealous revenue collection actions by the police.

    new take, i guess...monitor the appropriate radio channels. makes sense.

    i dont have an issue with the cops so much as the fixed and not so fixed cameras littering the roadsides... you can talk your way out with a human, you cant argue with a box and a letter two weeks later...

    Me likes that, fookin M/C cops hiding trying to nab ya for speeding is my pet peeve. Listens for radio transmissions, that's cool. Gives you way more distance warning than a radar detector I'll bet. Wonder if it auto detects police frequencies for the locale?

    It will only be so long before police find a way around this system. And Darwin the emergency vehicles constantly emit a frequency to give their location. So I am guessing it runs off this type of encrypted data to determine the strength of the signal
