Hi

Great forum with wonderful information. I hope to learn a lot. Going to build a
motorized bike using an older Huffy Cruiser and a kit with SD Stinger kit.

Built lots of motorcycles in my youth but haven't touched anything like them in
many years. Should be a fun project. I am still very mechanical (engineering background) and look forward to tinkering. Hope to build more for friends as we watch gas prices approach the moon. Chose my forum name after the Victory Bicycle movement that started in WWII. They even got congress people to ride the to the capital.

Any ideas and tips will be welcome. Hope to be cruising soon. I look forward to conversing with many here.

Thanks for reading

Hi jaguar

Thanks for the reply. I will check out your information. My kit should arrive on Monday. I hope to have it built by the end of the week.

Do you recommend using rubber as a cushion on the engine mounts to absorb vibrations?

Thanks

If the kit don't supply anything then just cut up and old inner tube to use as cushion.

Thanks, good idea. I am also considering painting the mounts with a liquid rubber that is used to cushion tool handles.
