I am moving in the next two months to the Los Angeles beach area from Hawaii. I am traveling with my girlfriend. Together we are interested in off-grid kind of thinking ...so the motorized bicycle forum seems the place to meet like minded people.
I am kind of still all thumbs when it comes to assembling or locating a proper bike. I think that something like the Schwinn beach cruiser with a reliable motor (kit?) would fit our needs.
Where might I find someone who can refer me to the right products ...and perhaps to a good local mechanical assembler?
