My Name is Ron Johnson and I live in Longview, WA. I just purchased my motor about a month ago, and truley love it. I have a 2010 Grubee Skyhawk 66cc/80cc slant head. I installed it myself. It was an interesting experience.
I am having some trouble though getting my carburator set, right, also when I stop at a stop sign the engine cuts off and does not idle, as well as getting my engine cut off to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ron

Welcome aboard.

Not being familiar with the Skyhawk, I won't be able to advise you. But don't worry, someone will come along.

In the meantime, though, you ought to browse threads with
"Grubee" and "Skyhawk" and such in the title.

You'll find your answer plus answers to questions you didn't even know you had.

Have fun.

I never got my 2 stroke to idle consistently. I switched to a thumb throttle. Now it is easier to tweak the idle speed at stop lights. You can buy a thumb throttle at a powersports shop or use an older friction thumb shifter.
