motor mounted and im almost ready to go
any suggestions on the chain tensioner for a worksman?

Welcome to the forum. Seems the stock tensioner should work fine on your worksman.

"ditto" on what Wheelbender6 posted. Are you having some particular problem with the tensioner?

I got the Grubee kit from King/Gasbikes, and the stock tensioner works alright. Had to twist it and make a bracket to keep it in place. There's stories around here of the stock tensioner going straight into people's spokes, so be careful of that.

If yours is a bracket with a plastic wheel, you might want to do like I plan to and upgrade to a spring tensioner. They're online for 15-20 dollars. Gonna check out a local bike store tomorrow, so I can report back in with the results if you want to know how it worked. I've only been riding mine for a day and the chain has slack, but I see the wheel getting eaten up a little already.
