I have gotten very interested in motorized bikes in the past 2 months and have the hots to have one. I like to do things myself and I tend to inprovise and scavenge parts or use what I have. I appreciate the threads I have read and hope to contribute. I am leaning toward making a friction drive bike. One main question I am trying to figure is how to attach the roller to the clutch of a chain saw motor. If there are threads for this let me know. I live close to Charlotte, NC and would be glad to meet others close who are interested.

Ebay kit

I looked at item # 190254604482 of a $144 kit that includes shipping. Is that a good thing or not? If there are threads that pertain to this please inform me.
