No more front derailleur (internally geared crank)

    That's pretty expensive.

    Have you seen the NuVinci hub??

    Staton sells the ENTIRE KIT, including gearbox, engine, and other odds and ends for only $860 ($40 more for the Mitsu TLE43)!!


    And the coolest thing about the NuVinci is that you change the "gearing" (tho there's not really gears, or "steps", because it's all one fluid motion when shifting) on BOTH the pedal chain and motor chain. You control the cadence of both inputs, not just one or the other. That's what makes NuVinci the bomb-diggity.

    I wonder if a Sick Bike Parts Shift kit could be used with this.

    I don't see why not.

    give me vtec actually has both on his Felt cruiser. Just saw that for the first time earlier this morning. Pretty rad, if ya ask me.
