I just opened my my clutch up to adjust it and found out i dont have a plate spring to keep my plate away from the clutpad when needed. I have not ran my engine yet, but what will happen if i do? Do i need to buy a spring or should my engine be like this (its a 66cc flying horse). I know the Chinese make mistakes might this be one of them?

I think you're ok. Don't quote me for sure, but I do seem to remember reading a post where a member mentioned running without that spring for about 6 months with no issues.

agreed.

it might drag a bit when you run out of petrol and have to pedal home. otherwise....whats the problem?

if you was be missing the spring that holds the clutch TOGETHER, well, that would be a problem...

easy to make a spring for this out of some old, light spring around the house - takes very little tension to stop a bit of rattle when clutch is pulled
