Non Vee Frame Build tips?

So I'm working on some mounting issues with my Electra Cruiser 1. And it's proved to be a difficult first build, but I'm hoping it'll be worthwhile in the end.

One thing that's really bothering me is the front motor mount.

I don't want to drill a hole in the frame as I've heard that is a no no, so has anyone motorized one of these ? And if so how has anyone overcome this issue?

Gil - I am not sure of your problem with the front motor mount, but I had a problem on my latest build - frame was to thick. Sick Bike parts sells and adapter and it works great. Hope that helps.

Most motor vendors sell a front mount for oversized diameter frame tubes. You can also rig one using a muffler clamp from your local auto parts store.
