Howdy Ladies and Gents,
I been checking out motored bikes on the road and Craigslist and after talking to a couple of builder/riders decided to give it a try. I found a great deal on a used Worksman and bought a PowerKing kit on eBay. I read here that it'll be a tight fit, but I figure with help from you all and taking my time -- it's doable.

Just got confirmation that my motor shipped from Powerkingshop today.

There's a local race in San Jose this weekend.

Date: Sunday, August 10th, 2008
Location: 100 W Autumn Street, San Jose, CA (Located behind HP Pavilion in Employee Parking Lot)
Cost: $35 to race 1 class; $50 for unlimited class; $20 for practice
Time: Gates open at 10am; Practice starts at 11am; Racing starts at 1pm

Must Haves: Full-face helmet, Elbow & Knee Pads, Gloves, Padded Neck Support

If you can make it out to this race, I'll let you take my bike out for a few laps.

^^^^ Is that like a motorcycle autocross? I'd really like to see that, especially if motor-assisted bikes are included too.

It was nice meeting you Monty at the races yesterday. Next time, I'll make sure the bike is the first thing out of the box van!

Hey thanks Man!
your bike is over the top. I'm gonna try building a little put put--your ride gives me something to aspire to. I am going to forego the Worksman bike and put the put put motor on a put put frame for my first build.
Thanks!
