norman and scamp

    heres a couple of this years machines.i am slowly doing up the 1939 norman carrier cycle.thats the black one.nearly finished the 1968 clark scamp orange one.just got to get a bit better performance out of it.

    That norman carrier bike is a great piece of work. I really like that design.

    You have done some seriously good things, sir.
    do you have any close up pictures of the motor/drivetrain on the orange Clark?
    thats the setup I'm trying to duplicate, can you post more pics please?

    The Norman looks like a real torque machine....any specific freight was it originally designed for?

    it was designed for general delivery for small grocer shops,butchers and bakers.in the days befor hypermarkets.it would have had a wicker basket or wooden box in the frame originaly.i am working on a couple of other similar bikesat the moment.i hope to post more pics later.

    What kind of engine is on the orange bike ???

    here are some pics the engine is built into a wheel that fits into the bike theres an automatic clutch that is on the right side of the engine that slots into place on the main wheel that has a large gear inside it which bolts onto a metal disc with a wheel rim attached.
