Home fabbed electric, 3 x 12v cart batts, golf cart motor, 12/24/36 pushbutton switches on handlebar control 3 starter relays to give the motor 12 or 24 or 36 volts and voila - different speeds. Crudely welded but nice details on the FAB, no pedals.

Thanks... Mine also has a switch to go from 30 or 36v
however. I have TWO motors and two (sets of) batteries.
The back battery is 24v with a step down module for my 12 v accessories. The front batteries are two 12s and two 6Vs. The switch removes one of the 6v batteries to run some 6v lamps OR when I need the max speed from 23mph to 19mph when I'm running on the roads because Florida laws only allow a max allowable speed of 20mph to still keep it a bicycle.
