Oil mixture

Right now I am in the break in period my 80cc engine. I am mixing the gas 16:1 and it is running great and awesome take off. I was wondering if after the break in period, if I can still run it 16:1

You can if you like, but I recommend 32:1. The worst thing that too much oil can do is foul the plug.

No need to run the oil/fuel ratio at 16:1

Just run 25:1 with the cheapest 2-stroke oil that's rated for air cooled engines.

Don't give any real concern to running in the engine. Use it as you normally would, but be sensible and don't over rev the engine.

What is the simplest recipe for mixing to get the approximate 25:1 ratio?

IOW In 1 gallon of gas at the pump, how much oil to carry?

I run 32:1 which is easy to figure @ 4 oz. per gallon. Lots of places sell 4 oz. bottles, if not, find an empty somewhere and fill it with whatever you got. I use the Wal-Mart brand, cheap and effective.
