Hello:

I was finally able to present a picture of those handlebars I've admired and used since they were popular and available in the early 1950's.

I photographed this picture from an online image on my monitor screen...it was the best I could do with a hand-held camera and no flash.

These EXACT handlebars are the ones I've been looking for everywhere, with no luck!

None of those are exactly like the ones in my picture.

I've looked through the online catalogs of Wald and Niagara Cycle Works many times and could not match the bars in my picture.

But thanks for your help!

NO...THE WALD 880's HAVE TOO MUCH RISE.

The bars have to look just like the ones on the Whizzer in my photo.

Handlebars:

You know...as difficult as it's becoming to find handlebars to match those on the bike in my thread picture, I'm thinkin' that the bars on the new NE-R and Ambassador come pretty close to my ideal, with the Ambassador's bars having a bit too much rise, but having possibilities.

Would I be able to buy NE-R or Ambassador handlebars from a dealer or from the Texas HQ?

Hal,
Would the h'bar on the left bike in pic work for you?

Hey Nuttsy:

I'm sorry, but they just don't have the shape of the ones on that Montana Whizzer, and I must have those exact bars!

Thanks for trying to help...
