powerkingshop on ebay is Slacking real bad!

    There shorthanded these days but there now resorting to fibbing about when they will send the motor. I ordered a second motor after having good luck ordering the first one The first one was here in 1 week. It was a preorder they did not have it in stock. This one it has been over a week I ordered 7/17 and they still have not sent it. UPS has not recieved the package. They have been sending everyone in automated emails. I will post a sample of this email. My bro nunyabiddness ordered one also and had the same problem If you want your motor shipped in a reasonable amount of time. Do not order from powerkingshop on ebay. Not until they hire some more people at least. I think they put there kids in charge of there ebay sales. They have no ethics and will not return your phone calls or respond to your email except with automated lies:-x. I told them I would try to be patient but there lies set me off. I am very close to telling paypal I didn't get delivery and I want my money back. Question is who should I order it from? Is there someone that would send it right away that takes paypal?

    Just to clarify The first motor I ordered was a preorder and was not in stock until the next day. I got that motor in 1 week. This motor was on preorder for 7/11 I ordered it 7/17, So that motor was in stock when I ordered it. Its been a week and 2 days and they still have not sent it, at least according to UPS tracking. If I am wrong in being disappointed. I expect everyone here to let me know. I don't want to be unreasonable and I don't want them FIBBING to us. thanks for moving thread to proper section guys

    We do sincerely apologize for any delay in the receipt of your
    purchase and order. We are now processing all shipments for the July
    11th Stock Arrival for the bicycle engine kits. Due to such a high
    volume of pre-orders received, we have divided these orders into batch
    shipments and these are being sent out throughout all of this week. We
    estimate that all shipments will have been sent out by Friday July
    25th.

    If you have noticed that the tracking information on the UPS side may
    not have updated yet, this likely due to the package not being scanned
    yet into the UPS system. Please allow 1-2 days for this information to
    update. Our packages are scanned once they are received at the UPS
    warehouse and are then sorted for delivery to our customers.

    Thank you for your patience while awaiting the delivery of your
    purchase and order. The following is our shipping schedule for the
    July 11th stock arrival :

    Motorized Bicycle Kits Order
    - Arrival Friday, 11th July
    - Inspection by customs Monday 14th July
    - Arrival at Burnaby, BC warehouse Wednesday 16th July or Thursday July 17th
    - Shipment to be picked up by UPS Monday 21st July to Friday 25th July

    *The schedule provided are estimations of when our order for the
    motorized bicycle engine kits is scheduled to arrive and to be

    Once the item has been shipped through UPS , it takes roughly 3 - 9
    business days to deliver the shipment.

    One thing that comes to mind is that they mentioned that orders to be filled by the shipment that they expected July 11 would leave as late as July 25.

    You placed your order July 17. There could well have been people in line ahead of you.

    If your order left on July 25 and UPS says "Yup, we've got it." on Monday morning, then I'd say things didn't work out too badly.

    I wouldn't get impatient yet. (Though I do understand how you might want this engine badly. I remember it very well. :)

    they are a very small company and are swamped with work just calm down and they will eventually get back to you

    some people aren't comprehending what they are reading.

    strainjpnt:they DID get back to him, they just sent an automated reply that did NOT tell the truth.

    Torques: the reply is NOT the truth. they said his package has been sent and UPS says they don't have it yet. so my question to you is, how is that a satisfactory reply?

    all of the replies from powerkingshop are automated replies, that get sent TWO days after you email them. o and you say just call them, good luck, I've tried to call them and NEVER gotten an answer.
    while they did make good on a part that went bad, it took 2 days to get a reply from them the first time, I replied back, then it took another 2 days for them to reply again.
    I can understand they are a little short handed at the moment, but this is rather ridiculous and I will NOT make another purchase from them.

    Receiving a tracking number doesn't mean a package is sent. Didn't you know that? It is common knowledge, the tracking number is only a receipt transmitted to UPS to EXPECT a future shipment. Do you think they are intentionally misleading EVERY single customer, then expect every one of those customers to bombard them with email inquiries, hardly. What is so mysterious about this fragment of their response:

    It seems pretty self-explanatory. I had NUMEROUS email conversations with them and all of their responses were clear and timely. I don't see what the problem here is. They are not misleading. My 10+ emails were clear. If I didn't understand something, I wrote them back, then received a clear response to my clarification. This sounds like knee-jerk unnecessary bashing but have at it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. My experience was very satisfactory. Are we gonna have a big argument now?

    If it shows that they really did send it on the 25th and ups tracking is 48hrs behind. I have never heard of this happening except on this forum and there emails. Then let me apologize now for my impatience and I will have learned something. I believe that they are good people at PKS. As I said they did very well the first time I did business with them. I don't wish them any misfortune. I would like to hear they got some help and everything will be back to normal soon. I am a seller on ebay also. I know its not as easy as it sounds and there regular ebay person obviously left. After this drama is settled. I'm gonna look into buying motors 10 at a time from someone. Maybe I can get a deal from someone. I was thinking of using PKS idea of presale and there motors. Now I think presale is a bad idea in general. I wouldn't want someone to be dissatisfied with there order like I am at the moment. It would also be trusting my reputation in someone else's hands, if the motor comes in late. Unacceptable in my opinion. If I say something I want people to know they can depend on me. I guess what It all comes down to is, if I get flamed on some forum. Its gonna be because I messed up, not because I trusted someone I don't know.

    Crazy, thanks for your response. At this point I respect you very much. Thanks for keeping an open mind. I had the same thing happen, a shipment showing transmitting but no transit information until it showed up at the customer's house. Guess who's problem is was regarding the tracking info? UPS I like UPS and am not bashing them, just saying it happens with them and I've had it happen with US Priority mail too. I like the US mail system too. Good luck and enjoy.

    I looked into my Crystal Ball and your engine is in the Que, UPS will receive it on Monday.

    Seriously, the demand hit all dealers heavy and most of us are playing the waiting game. Anxious yes, the season is slipping past yes, but patience is needed by all. It appears to me from the original letter that you are probably right on schedule.

    Torques, if the subject line of the eamil says "Item shipped", wouldn't you think that your item has been shipped? The only time I have ever heard of what you're saying about UPS, is on these forums. (and the other forums)
    the real problem is the lack of personal service, takes two days to get a reply, and then the reply is just something that they copy/pasted, does not answer the question that you asked, is sometimes in all caps as if you did something wrong and they're mad at you.

    I have defended powerkingshop recently, when the problem is not with powerkingshop, I will defend them again. however this problem is with powerkingshop.
    no matter what you say, this problem is still going to be with powerkingshop

    The package left late yesterday afternoon.

    If I were building this bike for someone else. They would have worried me to death. They would have already asked for there deposit back. I'll try someone else next time.

    will cost me 24 dollars more but it'll be worth it if it ships faster.

    Nothing against PKS there just too slow!!!

    I am dealing with Power King now and am not satisfied. I bought 3 engines from them and two blew up. one the pinion (I guess that is what you call it) gear between the clutch and engine broke in half. 3 day old bike. Had to install the other new engine on that bike for the customer. Then a kit I sold blew up. Same place different problem. That same gear looked like it was sitting crooked on the shaft. Thew off the balance on the motor and lunched it inside. piston scarred. Power King says never heard of this problem before. YOU must have not put enough oil in the mix. I had another gear that fit on the first bike and my guy took that first engine in exchange. I wanted power King to ship me a label to return this engine & a replacement. Sent pictures. NOTHING.

    My motor on the Kulana moon dog is a Powerkingshop engine. ( not a powerking)


    anyways, its a very good motor , hasnt had any problems yet. except for it died on me but i think thats my kill switch/sparkplug/wires or some electrical.

    Anyways, i ordered one from friend August 5, and the 6th UPS recieved their billing information..

    anyways my first motor was shipped tuesday, and it arrived thursday the next week.

    I am expecting the new motor for my friend to do the same thing.
