Pull Start Pull Start Spring Rewind

I recently bought a new pull start from zoombicycles, supposedly redesigned. My question is this, what is the best way to rewind that crazy spring? I have changed the rope to a chainsaw rope. I had installed the pull start before switching stuff an had no problem with starting (but wanted to take the advice of changing the rope), still pretty tough to start sometimes with just the jackshaft installed and peddling your a s s off.
