Question about Raleigh Cruiser

looking to get my first bike to convert into a motorized bike. been doing alotta research. found a bike on craigslist that that is a raleigh er6, 6 speed with a 21 inch frame. couldnt find much info about it, searched through this forum and google. any issues with this bike or brand? are they heavy duty? gonna include a pic too. otherwise im just gonna get a Schwinn jaguar or Southport new from target

I have a mid '90's Raleigh Retroglide Six Cruiser that is similar to that. It is not motorized & I enjoy the comfortable ride. Quality is pretty decent, & a lot better than WallyWorld cheap bikes. Mine sold for about $400, new.
It may be the picture, but the front fork looks like it may be bent backwards ? If so, PASS on it.
