The title sums it up. I recently put a cns carb on my 49cc and now I can't get it to idle. when I start it and pull the clutch in the engine will idle really high/ about half throttle sounding/ then drops down till it finally dies. Where is this gremlin hiding?

Throw the CNS carb in the garbage & go to the standard NT carb...simple ,but is works.

yes it was helpful and I agree - put the standard carb back on

a CNS will handle a LOT of flow, your 49cc can't flow fast enough or with enough volume to get the CNS working properly

Ensure that the NT carburettor is jetted correctly and use double o-rings in between the carburettor and the intake tube to give trouble free operation.
