Russian engines

Are these engines any good? Can you get parts for them? And who has them?

I am not sure of the availability of these engines or parts.

So basicly the russian motor is poop. The cyl. liner (steel) seems to be the only good thing besides the looks.

All I know about them is that Grubee will let you have 25 for 5K FOB Oklahoma.

no way...I never said poop!!

they are solid little engines. the casting is really nice. they start easy...everytime.
I'm squeezing about 25 mph out of my trike. We have members from eastern europe who really beef them up to race.

There was a Russian guy who joined this forum(sorry,can't remember his name) and he said his engines were terrible.
Seems strange cos that's where these Happy Time engines are supposed to originate from arn't they....clones of 1950's Russian engines?

I found it...here's what he said "Now we try to bring to Moscow a party of the Chinese engines, as at you. Old Soviet engines are much worse than yours.".....dunno how old he was talking but it didn't sound good.
