Schwinn Meridian

Am attempting to put a Honda engine on a Schwinn Meridian. Can anyone tell me if once this is done if you can or cannot use the pedals?

Hello Bob, in most cases, you should be able to pedal too....all depends on how you do it. One option is to connect the engine to the left, free-wheeling wheel....so pedaling and use of the engine are totally independent. The other option is to attach a sprocket to the axle so the pedal and engine drive the same axle, same right wheel. By use of a clutch or a freewheel, you can disengage the engine and just use the pedals.
