Scooter Guy shows off his new camera with the titan 50cc four stroke

yes i was looking at the tank next . i have a larger size teardrop tank , i can mount just in front of the rubiks clamps . I'm just wondering what it looks like under the existing tank . it may look unfinished under there .

Whatever tank u choose it's always going to be a trade-off between size/functionality & looks cos the engine needs to be gravity fed.I've tried the diaphram carb that BE.com sells & it's totally unacceptable.Walbro also sells a diaphram carb but i havn't tried it.

the weather is great here in Portland , took some time off from building and did some riding , i went 30 miles on the first tank of gas before i ran out . i pedaled to the gas station coming home from my girlfriends house this morning . .20 gal. 150mpg my figuring . i also found a neet little screw after taking the stock tank off . there is a lean screw on the intake . definitely helps with power / top speed so far 37.8 mph . the rear internal hub appears to be holding up so far . after some riding i had to twist the cable adjuster out on the shifter . it started shifting into half gears . i thought for sure i had busted it . but i guess it had just shifted and needed adjustment . like all bikes running through the gears they settle into the torque of the motor and need to be fine tuned . this nexus 7 speed internal hub is the same . it is nice at a stop to just dial the shifter down to 1 and your in first gear . no need to spin back wheel to move chain up. i rigged a bracket on the top mount for the gas tank its on there good and no ratling

here is a build i just finished , there is something to be said for drilling a frame , i got off work at 11 pm and started this build when i got home . i was riding it the next day , this bike is a rocket . i used a 2 stroke cag motor , with an upgraded 15mm carb , i rocket keyed the timing , and a straight pipe with expansion chamber . the chrome air filter is in the mail . this gt has nice thick aluminum . frame made in the USA , and Judy rock shocks

right on Jerry !! i think thats the cleanest, tightest one to date.

get the speedo on it, let us know what it will do. i have several people interested in that motor in that configuration, will it hit and hold 35mph with the "key", pipe and carb ?

is that 14-54 primary and 22 or 14-63 and 22 ?

did you alter the pipe or is that "stock" ?

thanks,
steve

i made it to work on time . i had to hook the speedo up .that took a few minutes . i must have allot of faith in myself . because i just putt this bike together . hopped on it and raced it to work . it went 35 mph . and my shifter and chains work flawlessly , its not as fast on the top end as i thought it might be , but man this bike gets to 4th gear in about 25 yards for 30mph . that's the rocket key . it doesn't really help the top end but it really gets you there fast . i might take the silencer of the straight pipe and just run it with the expansion chamber . i had some different size jets for the carb at one time . i sent those to someone . there final resting place ended up being at the bottom of a mail bag somewhere . lol.

i wanted to share this build it uses new clamps from hardware store , pipe clamps they work perfect . very nice specialized crossroads with 700 rims , very tight frame but the clamps made it fit up nice and high for plenty of pedal room . gear ratio for this titan 50cc from dax.com is 20t 8mm drive to a 63t 8mm or about 16 to 1 with the 5 to 1 tranny . rides nice and easy .
