Mine should be arriving early this week (SD Stinger), I'll post when it arrives and I get it installed, being my first build I don't think my opinion will be of too much value however..

I was repeatedly told Grubees were the best, so that is all I have used so far.
Please do let us know how it goes Butch.

Well my kit got delayed, will be here monday 5/17, I think the seller is out of them at the moment anyway..

  8. $170 shipped from them.

I got my 48cc Starfire GT-2 Grubee dualstart dualclutch from gasbike.net for $185 shipped last year and have 1,300 miles on engine, 33.2mph @ 180mpg.

Casting looks fairly good, I should be done with my install later this week so I'll post back as to how it runs, trying to finish installing while working 12 hour shifts is a *****!..

    Hey Butch,
I was looking at the same motor last night.
I was trying to read the manufacturers name on the engine sticker.
It looked to me that it said NanTong Jaili on it.
I was under the impression that the NTJL engines were among the better ones.
Can you tell us who made yours?
    Thanks , TIM

Hope the Stinger is good because I have my eye on some and I'm torn between a bribed or Stinger.

    Grubee 66cc

Grubee is the only motor i've had. its been on 2 different bikes. But if i were to get another it would defiantly get another one very reliable and starts quick after initial fire up. But i would also like to support an american made motor that is good.

An American made motor? I didn't know any of these HTs were American made.

Are you saying the stingers are identical to GT5?
Same quality casting, bearings, kit parts, etc?
