Shaw motorbike Video

Yup, Shaw was one of the original "kit" motors for bicycles. I have a Popular Mechanics magazine from 1910 with a Shaw add in it, they started several years earlier than that. They built kits and complete bikes up to about 1927 around 14,000 units. I have just an engine serial #13,072. That fellow is one of a very few guys that actually have running examples.

I am 40 miles away from Galesburg. (where the video was made & the Shaw museum) I need to go check it out.

He (in the video) lives right there in Galesburg and got to go through the Shaw shop when it closed down. a lot of cool history.
