Sick Bike Parts-bikes thread!

i have seen a bunch of pictures of these bikes but i always want more. so lets see what you have done and please, ONLY bikes with the SBP shifter kit installed!

Dang that brought back a flood of great memories!!

The primary purpose of the Shift Kit is not top speed. It could be argued that it's more about low end grunt and taking off faster.

In reality, the Shift Kit can be used to acheive both, and that's the beauty of using appropriate ratios for the engine, load, speed, etc...

i agree, the shift kit allows me to make pedal free take offs and still make my reasonable cruising speed at the torque peak of my engine.

it will however also go FAST

Heres mine

The seat pouch holds a 12V SLA battery, I have a red LED down light for a tail light, and a 50W down light for a headlight.

With the introduction of our new website we would like to add a photo gallery page and highlight some of our customers builds. So if there are any more photos out there lets see them. We would also require that you give us permission to use your photo. A brief description of the build would be cool too, bike frame, engine etc.

test bed

Ok so Im a Sick Bike Parts Addict ..... I love the difference it has made in the fun that I have on my bikes. But Ive taken most the winter off and with the last week of 70 degree weather in Indiana it got me going again. So I was nosing for new parts and ideas and seen all the gears on their web site and got the bug again. So here is my additions to this thread one is my old ride that I gutted for this test. The first is my mood dog that I started with the shift kit and the second is my test bed for gear testing a Trek 360 road bike.
The road bike is running the standard kit with a front derailuer so that I have two gears driving the rear wheel a 30 tooth and a 36. For stripping one to build another almost overnight and it worked well is the reason these two guys made us wait so long...THANKS.
I see a lot of different ratios possible and taking this all just a little farther

jezusjonz where did you get that rear tank?

I need to take some newer pics of the bike but for now I have this one. Bike is parts off of a Walmart Roadmaster (rims, front fork, brakes, shifting),
Handlebars from $3 BMX bike I got at Goodwill
Frame Motiv,
Engine is Rawusamotors 49cc,
Mailbox holder carrier,
removable Rolling Ice Chest that can be swapped out with my milk crate carriers.

Not pictured yet:
front waterbottle carrier
dual serengeti flashlight headlamps,
underseat carriers from Casino Arizona (back) and triangle tool kit (front)
Bell Speedo (a mistake)
Cats Eye Mirror

Does anyone else with a shift kit have trouble on their other non shift kit bike where they try to shift gears and nothing happens. Maybe I should bite the bullet and get another kit for the other bike.
