STORY: i cracked my exaust flange off the head overtighting a stripped and loose bolt... i know iknow ... a
any way i have a few motors laying around i grabbed a head of a motor with a cracked case...
i took the piston, the head and the top of the head.... went to the shop.....
pulled old head found a pleasing sight not much wear on the piston and its sleaving.. not as much as id expect... for riding the bike daily for the past three months....any way clean the new equipment up. start installing i get the new piston on, into the new head lay some super-tack on the base... and just before i put the metal gasket and the lid on.... i say hey why not oil it down and make sure its gonna be good... (GLAD I DID..)
it wouldnt even turn a full revolution the piston skirt is too long had to revert to the original... so i guess its good i checked not all kits are cross compatable...lol

there are type a and type b pistons, one has a higher wrist pin location than the other.
