Source for kits in CA?

Well I searched, but am still unsure, so I apologise if this has been covered to death.

I am In san francisco and have been looking into building a motorized bike, but most dealers seem to not ship to CA. Is there any kits that are legal here or are there any sources that you are aware of in which I can order reliably from?

ebay / craigslist

i got mine from a guy that sells built bike on craigslist. just ask for a motor kit.
they will sell them for around $150 ebay is also a good place. there are some that dont ship to cali and some that do. just look around.
