i put a wrench on the magneto side to turn over the engine yesterday morning and i have either retarded or advanced the timing.
i had been troubleshooting the locked engine whilst doing this.
anyway. locked problem is fixed, it was a bunched up chain, i will back off the nut holding the magneto onto the crank and hope the mag goes with the nut the same as it did when i tightened it. i have bigger problems to worry about anyway, the rim is out of true and shakes pretty bad after the tentioner incedent the night before last. i am going to put the ball peen to the inside of the chainstay where the chain has to be and get rid of the tentioner....
