Stirling engined car

    The article doesn't mention the heat source for the Stirling. I wonder how much heat the batteries generate? Enough, ya think?

    No, I doubt it. Li+ batteries are very efficient.

    But, since sterlings use external heat sources, they can use just about any fuel... and, they can burn the fuel cleanly, since combustion isn't forced to be constrained to just a few milliseconds of time.

    I'm still unclear; will people have to have the equivalent of a boiler on board to power this engine?
