Sunray crank-forward?

I have been looking at the Rans Fusion crank-forward bike, but it's expensive, and not compatible with the GEBE system, from what I have read. What do you think of this one:

It has a similar geometry but steel construction and about half the price.

Why do you think it's not compatible? .The rear wheel size is OK,lateral clearance problems for the ring?.A friction roller system could work too,the fore/aft attachment prob. would require some rework. But these problems can usually be overcome.Looks like a nice comfortable bike.I think steel construction is preferable over aluminum anyway.

Someone from this forum tried to motorize a Rans Fusion, and reported problems, I don't know the specifics.

This other one, the Sunray, might be more suitable, but no one has them in stock in my area.

I found a photo set featuring a rider and his Sunray. I'm really leaning towards this thing over the Rans Fusion.
