Tanaka TC47 to Titan or Duropower 49/52cc 4 stroke repower

Has anyone changed over their Tanaka 33cc to 47cc to one of the clone 4strokes?

I am looking at the conversion but have concerns of the mounting, clutch and throttle cable.

no , but why would you won't to replace a Tanaka ???

I have been wanting to try one of the 4 stroke engines but do not want to commit $200 and find out it won't attach to my friction drive setup until after purchase. I am going to have to buy an engine for my next project so I thought I would look into 1 of the 4 strokes and move thge Tanaka to the new project.

you can use

the harbor fright engine with that one.
but the honda is really not that much more !!!
and you can get parts for is, the robin is prob IMO the best 4 stroke bike engine out there !!! small quit lots of power always starts, parts avail.

From my reading the honda needs serious alterations for use as far as clutch and throttle are concerned. I am looking for a bolt on with similar or greater torque and hp. Also I want 4 stroke.
