Why on earth do most sellers quote a lowball price and then try to add a ridiculous amount for freight charges....Do they really think the buyers are so stupid as to believe that it costs 40.00 to ship a 25lb item by UPS .Advertise a fair price with the true freight cost.

This is especially common with eBay sellers. It's a way they can avoid being charged exorbitant eBay fees. I remember seeing a seller offering fine art posters for $1.00, but shipping was $25. He'd get his money but only owe eBay pennies.

Don't forget PayPal... there are two ways of describing a payment, there are two tabs one is for purchase (fee) and the other is personal (free). When buyers buy something from me on here I give a price to the door and request payment as gift.
