Using a rear suspension bike

Using the standard 49cc/80cc engines chaindrivng a rear wheel sprocket, will they work with a bike with a rear suspension or will the chain become too loose when the suspension operates? Is there a type of chain tensioner that will automatically take up the excess looseness when the suspension operates? Thanks

the chain will pop off. use a hardtail bike.
but if u want to use a rear suspension bike u could try a dirtbike tensioner,goodluck.
