Carby using pit bike carby.have manifold question?

im using a pitt bike carby. goes good. feels heeps better. better throttle too. i hade to cut bend and then weld the manifold off to the side to make it fit. now it hits my leg a bit. wat if i make a manifold so the carby faces forward in front of engine. iv already started to make it but just wondering wat ppl think

that will work, but it may affect your top end performance since the intake will be making a 90 degree turn.
who knows, it's just a bike engine. try it and let us know how it works.
It never hurts to try new things....you may stumble upon something that a lot of people might want.
Patent the idea so no one steals it tho.
you can do that by mailing a drawing and description of the intake to yourself. when it comes back to you in the mail do not open the envelope.
the post mark date will verify when you came up with the idea.
then if somsone sees it and tries to steal your idea a year later, you will be able to back up the fact that you "invented" the manifold from the sealed letter with the post mark date.
sounds silly, but it works.
