Hi folks,

Its been a while for me but does anyone have any info? I am planning on a Staton friction drive, but really like the v-frame idea.I was all ready for an axle mount Staton but that gear nox whine might ruin it for me...........Thanks :geek:

Frame mounting a GX35 or subaru for chain or belt drive requires a lot of gear reduction. You will need a reduction gear box or jack shaft.
One reason the China girl motors are so popular is that they have the 4:1 gear reduction built in. They require no gear box or jack shaft.
The bigger 49cc Honda frame mount kit includes a gear box.

Never heard of China girl, I will look into though....Thank you !

Wheel, could you direct me towards their website ? , Googled but nothing.

China girl is a "forum" term for the generic, frame mount 49-66-80cc Chinese 2 stroke engine.
They are built specifically to be mounted on a bicycle.
They are sold under a variety of brand names. No serial numbers.

Cool, I see Grubee has a belt drive kit for the Honda ghx50, I wonder if this system is reliable??

I am a little leary of the Chinese stuff from a reliability standpoint, am I paranoid ??
