Vendors wassup with engine availability?

I bought a staton r/s kit recently and i'm thrilled to death with it, only thing i'm a lil disapointed in the power the lil soobie has but its a motor assist that i'm convinced will help me by exerting more pedalling. My question is wheres the stock at? Any bizz MAB dealer knows spring is the time of year but all are out of stock on the HS50. Dax lost 350$ cuzz i would have bought from him. Whats going on?

Think a few years back of trying to find a nintendo WII for christmas...

High demand of the product, combined with having to be shipped from the other side of the globe.

Not to mention most of them are a 2 stroke, which I understand is getting very hard to be allowed here!
