    very good "History of Henderson motorcycles-chicago/detroit" site.

    Also includes a complete parts list for a 1926 or 27 "De Luxe" model (actually a PDF of a period catalog), for those interested in the restoration/recreation of these bikes.:)

    Really neat article. You really have to wonder what would have happened had Schwinn not pulled the plug. I'm not sure about the Henderson name, but I know the Excelsior name lived on for a while on bicycles. I have a '38 Excelsior. But man-o-man would I love to have a Henderson De Luxe.
