Finally got my project whizzer running... what a blast!
Bike was an old schwinn cruiser and I have lots of old cruiser parts that went into this ... only part I am still looking for is a good inexpensive used leather brooks saddle ... also have worksman drum brake wheel set and some leather saddle bags on the wish list.
Headlight and rack/tail light are Schwinn Phantom replica parts ... wired them into the electrical and also wired a brake light into the tail light.
Final photo of the set is a European wheel lock ... mounts on the frame and locks through the rear wheel like a hand cuff... got in one one of my trips to Austria as they are very popular there ...
Used clamp on engine mounts from Memory Lane Bicycles and got the motor, speedo and misc. parts from none other then the big "Q", Quenton in the Outer Banks... what a delightful person to deal with.
Special thanks to the list contributors as I would likely not undertaken this project without this site.
Thanks to all
