Those who choose to display a avatar, what determines your choice? Current bike?
Something you just think is cool looking?

    My lastest, is 26 years of past youth. Drink'in, smoke'in, Harley ride'in, A$$ kick'in.
I've been feeling like I need a bit of the past lately. I need a little reminder, to remind
me why its not a good idea. :devilish:

Hi Graucho...Love your bikes..My avatar probably describes my frustration at being mechanically challenged and the envy I have of those who have it naturally or through experience..but..I am learning..lateral and logical and thinking before you grab that tool

A long time ago, eons in computer time, I started using the nick "Lord of Light AZ" I came across the avatar, which is sort of a take off on a phoenix rising. I love the sun and do most of my reading outside in the "light" but I have a dark nature so the blue/white flames sort of like lightning. my tinkering with things to rebuild them, my love of the night time, my favorite color, living in Phoenix, black drew me to this flaming creature. It is small and animated so it can be used in backgrounds or as a border.

I chose my avatar after scanning thru some of my pictures and realized that it was one of the only ones that would still be "legible" after shrinking it to avatar sizes. As SimpleSimon might like to say... "The effect of this picture increases with a decrease in size squared" ... but not exactly.

  18. no avatar I cant find what I want even though I know what it is.

I been looking for a picture of Enos with his 5 inch hood scoop Camaro from the TV series that was a take off of the Dukes of Hazzard.

reason is I am a complete motor head & 5 inch scooped muscle cars were the normal when I went to high school & college & I want to build another right now but funds will not let me.

I have spent many hours looking for & cant find a single picture of his car from the series.

if anyone knows where I can locate a pic of that shoot me a link....

    Later,
    Randy
