I really want to make a Electric bike working with the gears and derailuer for the motor.

I've found this...:

motor and I was wondering will it work? and if so, what is my next step to making this dream a reality like i see all over youtube.

Cyclone makes a kit that works with the gears and chain. If you want to DIY, maybe seeing how they do it will help inspire you.

that motor sprocket wont work with your bike chain and derailer.
besides the motor you will need a controller,batteries,throttle,charger,chain and sprocket.

anyone can buy a motor,but can you do the rest.
whole electric bikes start at $180 with everything and you can see how they work and upgrade it later.

With all due respect I don't think you can make silk purse out of a pigs ear!

It's technically difficult to build your own ebike that connects the motor with the chain because there is a large difference in the motor rpm verses the pedal rpm. You need a 10:1 geardown to make it work.
