Whizzer Motor Rebuild

Can anybody please help with a description relating to guaging correct whizzer crankshaft end play without the benefit of a $85 whizzer crankshaft end play shim guage?

Also a good source to purchase the shims.

Sorry for the bother. I am new to the forum. I now see Quenton's description about crankshft end play as well as others. I beleive that I can manage now. Appereciate the forum and all your input, especially Quenton. Thanks, mcdougal
