Got a call from them today and everything is ok. As usual I got antsy - sorry.

Still, J: after reading your original post about them going into black-out mode on you for three weeks, I wouldn't EVER deal with them.

You say they called you? Hopefully you'll get more than that...like, your parts! Good luck...

3 weeks and no contact...Naaa, wouldn't deal with them either.

To expand on my comment a little: A month or so ago, I went to www.whizzermotorbike.com, and there was a set of parts (a complete gas tank assembly -- not cheap!) that I was interested in purchasing. Because of the "here today-gone tomorrow" nature of many MB-related businesses, I didn't dare just put in my order through their Online Catalog section.

I emailed them at their contact address, whizzer40@whizzerusa.com, and asked if the parts were in stock and ready to ship. After a week had passed, I re-sent the email (noting that it was my second request). Now, about a month later...nothing. I wonder what would have happened if I just put the parts order in the online shopping cart, and filled in my shipping and credit card information.

Some would say, "Why didn't you phone them?" My response would be that if they're ignoring multiple emails from ready-to-buy customers at the email address that they list in their "Contact" section, I don't want anything to do with them. I have zero confidence that I'd receive my order.

By the way, I assume that jroyse is dealing with the same Whizzer entity that I'm talking about because the phone number listed on whizzermotorbike.com is located in Texas (Dallas area).

Please keep us posted on your order, jroyse. Thanks.

The lady there called me and apologized for the delay. I received all my parts via USPS a few days later. Yes the delay had me worried in that I thought they may have quit the business or something and I would be out the money. Turns out they never charged my credit card until they shipped the order. I'm happy with the order although next time I will call to make sure they are ready to do business and ship without delay.
