thanks ! I was almost ready to get one at Walmart.

I am thinking the prices have bottomed out on motorized bike stuff, the price of gas going up and all.

I took the stickers off and when my son Matt came over the next day he said he had not noticed it was a black bicycle with all the stickers on it. :cool:

I am a sticker puller offer. :geek:

I am thinking some used Harley leather saddlebags with Ping batteries secured in them.

You can order from walmart online and get free delivery to store.
Make sure you join battery of the month club cause when they say the batteries can be recharged 300-500 times they really can be recharged like 75 times. Find a good deal on batteries and buy lots of them.
 
Yeah, maybe that's why they are on sale so cheap. Batteries getting old ?

The rack is heavy duty and so is the bike frame. ( Titan ready ).... I didn't say that.

Making mounts for different batteries other than the ones sold with the bike should be no problem.

excellent...

use a voltmeter straight after charging, before you go for a ride ( same trip every day) and when you get back, just keep a small log for a couple of days and if the numbers stay close that will give you an idea on the health and reliability of the batteries.

Not exactly rocket science, but it has worked for me so far, nice easy method too make sure my batteries are OK.
