Well, I started building the pushy so my dog could go along, then shortened it for speed. Dog (Mindy) and I have taken 120 mile trips with it. After shortening, top speed on level ground is 57 mph, downhill is 60+, will beat 2.2 ltr. Honda civic manual off the line for 100 ft.
Up the tallest hill around here-35, and its Steep! Comet Torq-a-verter has 10% overdrive. all governor stuff of course removed, have been riding it for over a year now in short form. Long style is hard to live with in the City.

VERY nice work! Be careful, you can't have much of any brakes at those speeds!! Cute kitty too.

Looks interesting. What a monster pusher! How is it on twisty bits?

    About the brakes....

Well, actually, with the Comet Tourque Converter, when you let off the throttle, it acts as a brake, between the compression braking and the bike, I have not had any close calls. As with any motorized contraption, you never want to exceed your performance envelope. I have a pro road racing license, and the great Jerry Wood, A.M.A. World champion racer, has instilled a redline in me that I rarely exceed.
I really like this combination of engine and trans. I have built several different contraptions with them, the chopper was built to fit in the boat, and I pull them behind my small live aboard, so I always have a way to get around on land, and make fuel runs without paying marina gas prices, wich are double!
I am now making another boat with the same engine mounted inboard....
    We shall see........:boat:

BEAUTIFUL DESIGN! How high does that GC160 rev to get you to those insane speeds??? TAV or not, that's really fast!

Is that a 13x6.50x6 turf-saver lawnmower tire? It looks like the same tire I just went to on my trailer. The turf saver tires are great!

I have to say, you have the fastest trailer out of anyone here. Mine goes "only" 55mph :D

    Excellent Job!

I haven't been around here in a while, but it is really nice to see push trailers moving forward. This is an awesome design! I like that it is aluminum.

Your engine even has a ROLL CAGE!

Insane speed as well. My top speed was 50mph and that was crazy enough for me.
